Slow Progress on Park Development...

We are moving ahead but the progress with the offroad park is coming along slower than we like. We now have the temporary permits but we really wanted the actual permits before starting the work. We could start and have to stop if the county agent turns up somethign in their not-yet-completed site assessment and we certainly do not want to blind sided by big money problems.

We are continuing to work on the trails and obstacles. The latest thing we have been doing is clearing a rock trail. This trail should be awesome when we're done! It will be about 4-500 yards long and have numerous entry and exit points so if you want to avoid a over the top obstacle you can. The trail will have rock obstacles every ten yards or so and you'll be able to pick your level of difficulty. There is one obstacle that we call Table Rock which is a 24 ft. by 14 ft. rock that is over 3 feet thick! If you want to tackle this trail at its hardest level, you'll have to take on this rock!

We now have a contractor to come in and bulldoze open a bunch of new trails. He is scheduled to open up 25 miles of new trails in February!

At last the Christmas push is ended at the jeep parts web site. The most frequently ordered items were jeep soft tops. This seemed a little odd to me but the market buys what it wants/needs. Other hot sellers were our Bikini tops. Before the Christmas ruch I predicted that we would see a lot of orders for seat covers and fender flares along with some winches. But that wasn't the case.

The next thing we're adding to our line of accessories is licensed Jeep logo clothes along with a new line of winches and seat covers. We'll sooin be selling those Hawaiian print seat covers. Sweet! I'm told that in this business you have to keep adding and improving or you're falling behind, and they're really pushing the adding new products, which brings me more work. And that is a good thing.
